I'm A Plant Mommy!
Several years ago, I tried to take care of a plant. Just a small one that is okay for indoors. I chose a cactus because I knew that this kind of plant didn't need much attention and care.
But boy was I wrong!
In a matter of weeks, the plant died. I didn't even see that it was dying. I just noticed one day that there was something wrong. And when I tried to take a closer look, I saw that the plant had rotted from the inside out. A friend told me that I may have overwatered it. I didn't know that there was such a thing.
So I gave up with plants. It was a cactus and yet I killed it!
Well, until around a week ago. One of my friends posted that she had a plant - a small one at that - and it looked cute! I asked her where she bought it. She referred me to the seller and I was able to acquire one.
I bought a snake plant and so far, I think I'm doing good. There are new sprouts coming out of the soil and there are no signs that it is withering or having any sort of distress. I have placed it right on my desk. I hope it helps bring more oxygen to this earth. Well, at least to my room.
I'm happy with how things are going and I hope it continues to thrive. I have also contacted the seller again and bought two more of the same plant. I plan on placing one in my son's room and the other one would be in the bathroom.
I hope I care for them well. :)
